Welcome to Springhill Christian Academy. By enrolling your child, you agree to abide by the following Terms of Service, which outline the responsibilities of both the Academy and the parents/guardians.
Admission to Springhill Christian Academy is open to children from ages 6 months to Grade 9, in accordance with available spaces. Enrollment is subject to completion of required documentation and payment of the registration fee. The Academy reserves the right to decline admission based on evaluation criteria and availability.
School fees and other school-related fees must be paid in advance as per the payment schedule outlined during admission. Late payments may result in penalties and/or suspension of student privileges until the fees are settled. Fees are non-refundable, except under specific circumstances determined by the Academy.
Students are expected to attend school regularly and arrive on time. Parents/guardians are responsible for notifying the school in case of absences due to illness or any other reason. Excessive absenteeism may affect the child’s academic performance and continued enrollment.
The health and safety of our students are a priority. Parents/guardians must disclose any medical conditions or allergies their child may have. In case of an emergency, the Academy will seek immediate medical attention and notify the parents/guardians. Parents/guardians must provide up-to-date emergency contact information. The Academy maintains a safe environment and abides by health regulations but is not liable for injuries sustained during normal school activities, unless due to negligence.
Students are expected to exhibit respectful behavior toward peers, teachers, and staff. Bullying, harassment, or violence will not be tolerated. The Academy reserves the right to take disciplinary action, including suspension or expulsion, for violations of the code of conduct.
The Academy offers a well-rounded curriculum aligned with Christian values and South African educational standards. While we strive to offer a comprehensive education, the Academy cannot guarantee specific academic results. Extra-curricular activities, such as sports, arts, and robotics classes, are offered as part of our holistic development program.
Students may have access to technology and the internet for educational purposes. Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring their child understands proper online behavior. The Academy will monitor internet usage to ensure safety but cannot be held responsible for unauthorized access or misuse of the internet by students.
Balanced meals are provided as part of the school’s daily routine. Parents/guardians must notify the school of any specific dietary restrictions or requirements.
Students are expected to respect school property, including classrooms, equipment, and learning materials. Damages caused to school property by students may result in fees to cover repairs or replacements.
Parents/guardians are encouraged to participate in school events, meetings, and parent-teacher conferences. Open communication between parents and the Academy is vital for the child's academic and personal development.
By enrolling your child, you consent to the use of photographs and videos of your child for the Academy’s promotional material, including social media, unless otherwise notified in writing.
Parents wishing to withdraw their child must provide the Academy with at least one month’s notice. The Academy reserves the right to terminate a student’s enrollment due to repeated violations of school policies or non-payment of fees.
The Academy reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Parents/guardians will be notified of any significant changes.
